We're moving!

It's been a tough few months--we finally made the decision to move back closer to Chicago.

During the pandemic, my partner and I packed up our bags and said goodbye to the city. We bought about 3 acres of land and dove straight into gardening and tree care and...epic battles with deer. However, the commute to our muggle jobs (about an hour and up to an hour and a half each way), the sheer weight of taking care of such a sizeable property, and the general isolation has been too much. And most importantly for this blog--my pottery practice has suffered instead of thrived.

The decision is bittersweet, as these decisions usually are. I am just trying to observe my feelings and let them happen and honor them whenever I can.

The good news is that just closed on a house with a massive basement where I am going to set up shop once again. Keep an eye on my socials for the big studio reveal!
